He is also the co-founder of Methods of Mayhem, an rapper group. Lee has also been involved in various solo musical projects. Lee is a staunch supporter of PETA as well as animal rights. In 2010 Lee wrote a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting against the treatment given to Tilikum the orca. Lee believes that the animal should be released. He also stated that SeaWorld wouldn't comply as Tilikum is their primary source of the sperm. Lee expressed his disgust at SeaWorld's sloppy and bizarre ways of obtaining Tilikum fertile. Lee stated that he wanted to not want to see trainers being killed, as these tragedies were due to the whales' fear of the confinement.
