Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's an American singer and actress. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier), Nurse and Tom Bell, a television news director. She is the daughter of a Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young stage of her life. In 1992, she attended her first audition. She was given the role of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother before the age of 13 and was cast as a model for advertisements on television and newspapers. Along with taking private lessons, she began her acting career in the year 2000. Bell was credited with a minor role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and the drama club. She won the starring role of Dorothy at her school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. After graduation Bell relocated into New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she studied musical theater. Bell quit her college in 2001 after she landed the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she made her first credited debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and the Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
