In America in the beginning, the performances of Maureen FitzSimons (who we know as Maureen O'Hara) would definitely be in the category of child prodigies. These traits were natural to a person born in Ireland. by gifted parents and a loving family. Maureen was born in this cosy haven, August 17, 1920. Her family was her parents and family members. She was the daughter of Marguerita Lilburn FitzSimons, was an accomplished contralto. Her father, Charles FitzSimons, managed an enterprise in Dublin and was also the owner of the renowned Irish soccer team "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons' was the second FitzSimons children. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara made up this family. Maureen loved playing rough sports when she was an infant and was extremely adept in them. This interest was combined with an unnatural talent for performing. This is why she won the majority of the Feis Awards for acting and dramatic performances in her home country. At age 14, she had been accepted into the Abbey Theater, where her dream was to pursue operatic singing and classical theater.
