Awkwafina
Awkwafina started out as an American musician and rapper performing sly tunes that dealt with questions of race and sexual identity with a comedic twist. Prior to her move into Hollywood, she had the opportunity to make a few songs. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents within Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was via trumpet. Apart from classical music and jazz, Nora Lum began studying hip-hop in her teens. In the school, she focused on the field of journalism as well as women's studies. She studied Mandarin during a time in Beijing. She didn't start focusing on music until after she finished her studies. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in 2012. The track was later included on her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also contained viral hits including body-positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide that was published in 2015, which was an additional idea. A musician and author was on her resume she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor. Her film credits include films such as Neighbors 2, Storks, and Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored major roles in a variety of high-profile movies like Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
